Gottfrid Svartholm Warg (BBC)
Phnom Penh - Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, co-founder of popular file-sharing site The Pirate Bay were arrested in Cambodia. Warg had detained in Phnom Penh after Sweden issued an international alert for the arrest.

Quoted from the BBC, Monday (03/08/2012), Warg was arrested on charges involving the illegal use of technology. The Swedish government also asked Warg returned to their home country to undergo the legal process.

"The arrest was made at the request of the Swedish authorities relating to crimes related to information technology," said police spokesman Kirth Chantharith Cambodia.

Pirate Bay itself is one of the pioneers that encourages the growth of the Internet in some dakade. This website was built in 2003 by the Warg and Fredrik Neij to allow users to share large files more easily, including movies and other media files.

This provoked the attention of the Motion Picture Association of America and other similar agencies began suing sites like Pirate Bay into the realm of law.

There was no Twitter and Facebook in Iran

Tehran - Iran's government strict oversight also apply in cyberspace. Social networks like Twitter and Facebook can not be opened in the country.

When the Non-Aligned Movement summit of the XVI in Tehran attended by Vice President Boediono, the reporters tried to open a Twitter, but to no avail. If the address is entered in the browser the Twitter timeline and a little blue bird emblem logo Twitter is invisible. Which came out just a full page containing the writings of Iranian language, Friday (31/08/2012). The same thing happens when typing the address into the browser Facebook.

Just like Twitter and Facebook, also failed address www.detik.com opened in Tehran, Iran. When www.detik.com address entered into the browser that appears is a page containing the writings of Iranian language the same as typing the address obtained if twitter and Facebook in your internet browser.

But the second news can still be seen if accessed directly from each channel as http://news.detik.com, http:// finance.detik.com and http://sports.detik.com. AFP news can still be seen if accessed directly from the addresses.

Previously, detikINET on (13/2) and preached in commemoration of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran blocked a number of sites. The Iranian government tightened controls internet access and ensure its citizens can not access popular sites.

Local media launch, some 30 million Iranians report can not access Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail and a series of other sites. Quoted from Hacker News, Monday (13/02/2012), the blockade by Iran since Thursday last week.

Although there is no official statement from the government, Iranian media strongly suspect this was done to prevent the outbreak of a wave of protests from the opposition.

Until now, Iranians generally use some sort of 'street rat' in order to escape government censorship. But now, many users reported Iran, such a program was no longer allows access to sites like Facebook.

Iran is showing its ambition to have full control of access to information for citizens. Currently, the country was led by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad amid keen to test domestic internet. The network claimed 'halal' is, will be to limit the Iranians from penetrating foreign sites, including Facebook and Twitter.

Iranian authorities even require the owners of internet cafes there to collect the information of their clients. If they refuse, internet cafe business will be discontinued.

Samsung: Windows Phone can be as successful Android

Berlin - The emergence Ativ S makes Samsung became the first vendor to introduce a smartphone Windows Phone 8. From the first time its presence, Samsung became one of the vendors supporting Windows Phone OS.

Until now, Windows Phone's market share is still relatively small compared to its main competitors. However assessed, Windows Phone still has the potential to reap the popularity of Android as a shot today.

"Android itself it also took years to be successful as it is today. Windows Phone I think it also has the same potential," said Fabiant Kayatmo, Product Marketing Manager Nokia Indonesia in Berlin.

Fabiant Windows Phone pretty good judge, for example, from the user interface. However, several obstacles still facing, such as market education issues.

"There are still many who do not know how to use Windows Phone. From the application side are still losing a lot of Android," added Kayatmo.

He added that Windows Phone 7 handsets that can not be updated to Windows 8 is also a problem in itself. People also prefer to wait rather than buy the handset Windows 8 Windows Phone 7 mobile phone.

Would it be Samsung brings mobile Ativ S to Indonesia? Fabiant admits that they can not confirm it, although the possibility remains.

Archos GamePad, Tablet Gaming

Archos GamePad Berlin - The more crowded Android tablet market competition makes Archos create something different. Yes, this tablet vendor also launched a tablet that combines design game consoles. By Archos device called GamePad. Launched at the IFA technology exhibition 2012, Berlin, Germany, Gamepad is intended for gamers who want to experience more. This is because there is an additional analog stick on the side of the tablet. While it is about the specification, GamePad has a 7-inch wide screen with a capacitive touch screen. About the Power of dual core processors dipasangkanlah 15.Ghz. So that was quoted from Softpedia, Thursday (08/30/2012). "Arguably we are an Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet first to add control functions such as game consoles that support the framework," said founder and CEO Henri Crohas Archos. Croshas also added GamePad will be supported by thousands of Android games. Includes catalog of game titles that do not support this physical control. He also ensures the game developers have created titles that are compatible with the device. Review Antec True Power Quattro 850w

Review Antec True Power Quattro 850w

Antec has recently hit a couple of home runs in the chassis department with their P190 and P-180 cases.  Both of these cases offer excellent noise dampening qualities as well as providing huge amounts of storage.  The one little secret that everyone seems to have forget about is that Antec also has a nice power supply division.
For those keeping score the True Power Quattro  comes in two different sizes ranging from the 850 watt which we are reviewing today to 1200 watt unit. Either unit is bound to provide you with more power than most system would ever require.

+12.0 Volts 12.39V 12.32V 0.07V
After putting the putting the Antec True Power Quattro 850 watt power supply through our series of tests I can safely say that it can handle any thing we tossed at it.  The power supply is extremely well built  and carries a 3-ywar warranty. I have to say that we were initially concerned that the power supply only had a single 80mm fan but it was very evident during our tests that the single fan did it's job very well as we were able to feel warm air being blown out the rear of the supply.

TruePower Quattro is the most efficient power supply to date in Antec's successful TruePower line due to Active Power Clamping technology. The active clamp forward converter allows the use of smaller components, reducing the overall size of the PSU to further conserve energy.

The environmentally friendly unit is 80PLUS(R) certified, operating at up to 85% efficiency rates to deliver continuous full-rated power while guaranteeing a high level of performance. In addition, Active Power Factor Correction helps to reduce electrical waste for effective energy use. The PSU is fitted with heavy-duty protection circuitry to prevent damage resulting from short circuits, over voltages, under voltages and over current to keep systems running safely and smoothly.

TruePower Quattro is available in two models: 850 Watts and 1000 Watts, making it Antec's highest wattage power supply. To provide an increase in stability, the power supply comes equipped with four +12V rails for equal distribution of power throughout for the system. Universal Input automatically adjusts for 100V to 240V power grids, and Quattro is designed to support EPS12V v2.91 and ATX12V systems.

With a price tag of about $170 some dollars + or - a few either way this puts it approximately in the same price range as most 1KW power supplies but the one thing a large number of the other supplies can't say they have is the backing and support of Antec Computer and that can be priceless when your talk about product value.

SSD vs HDD

Maybe you never heard about SSD... A solid-state drive (SSD) is a data storage device that uses solid-state memory to store persistent data. SSDs are distinguished from traditional hard disk drives (HDDs), which are electromechanical devices containing spinning disks and movable read/write heads. SSDs, in contrast, use microchips, and contain no moving parts. Compared to traditional HDDs, SSDs are typically less susceptible to physical shock, quieter, and have lower access time and latency. SSDs use the same interface as hard disk drives, thus easily replacing them in most applications.
